Our elementary students in grades 2-4 from Sanford Pride, Carl J. Lamb, and Margaret Chase Smith schools got a special treat today as they visited the Sanford Performing Arts Center to experience CATAPULT - the internationally touring company featured on America's Got Talent!

What a wonderful opportunity for our young learners to witness such inspiring performances right here in Sanford!

Reminder! Sanford High School is hosting the Maine Band Directors Association State Marching Band Finals right here at Alumni Stadium on Saturday, October 25.

This year's show, "Echoes of the Earth," is a stunning celebration of our connection to the natural world. Our students have poured their hearts into this performance since August, and tomorrow is their final competitive show of the season!

Congratulations to our Cross Country team as they travel to Twin Brook Rec in Cumberland on Saturday, 10/25, to compete in the MPA Class A South Regional Competition.

The girls will run at 11:00 am, followed by the boys at 11:40!

Congratulations to our Girls Soccer team on a successful regular season. They finished the season 9-5 and earned the #6 seed in Class A South.

They will host the #11-seeded Bonny Eagle Scots on Saturday, October 25th, at 10 am at Alumni Stadium for a preliminary playoff game!

Sanford School Nutrition is happy to announce that we are relaunching our After School Super Snack Program at SHS starting Monday, 10/20/2025. Super Snacks will be served after the last bell from 2:15 - 2:45. These meals will be served Monday-Thursday when after school enrichment activities are offered. These meals are free of charge and we encourage all students to take advantage of this after school program!

Last week, 11 outstanding female student-athletes from Sanford High School attended the 2025 Maine Female Athlete Leadership Conference at Bates College! This inspiring and action-packed day focused on helping female athletes and coaches grow as leaders both on and off the field.

These young women are already leaders on the field and in the classroom, and this conference will help them develop even stronger leadership skills they can bring back to our school and community.
