Sanford Community Adult Education (SCAE) is partnering with Springvale CareerCenter to host a community hiring event on Wednesday, September 16, from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the SCAE campus library. The event is the first of a series of monthly job fairs planned throughout the 2026-2027 school year. It is open to the community and free of charge.
The event will feature 26 participating businesses offering opportunities ranging from full-time careers to short-term employment, making it a valuable resource for job seekers of all ages with a variety of goals and experience levels. Whether attendees are looking for a new position or simply interested in exploring career and training options, the job fair provides an opportunity to connect with employers and educators, learn more about available pathways, and explore potential next steps. Interview rooms will also be available on-site for employers to meet with candidates and discuss openings.
As SCAE enters its fourth year of hosting monthly job fairs, the program is proud to continue its partnership with Springvale Career Center, with support from the event’s co-sponsor the Sanford Chamber of Commerce. In collaboration with these organizations, SCAE is excited to continue advancing its mission of providing pathways for personal growth, career advancement, and lifelong learning while serving as a vital resource for the Sanford community.
