Lillian, a fourth-grade Sanford Pride Elementary student, recently joined Mrs. Daly as the assistant principal for the day. The fourth-grade teachers recommended her for this role. Lillian consistently exhibits the Core Values (Courage, Honesty, Responsibility, Compassion, and Respect) that are very important at SPE. Way to go, Lillian!

Sanford Regional Technical Center had a visit from Ghostbusters! The York County Hazmat team came to work with the firefighting program. The students got to gear up in full hazmat suits and see how difficult it is to walk and communicate with each other. They appreciated learning more about the hazmat team's equipment and procedures.

In Ms. Syphers' ELA classes at Sanford Middle School, students finished their social issues unit by creating an amusement park based on their books' social issues. Students worked in groups and created different sections of their parks, which included rides, shopping areas, and concessions.

On Friday, March 15th, Carl J. Lamb welcomed sixteen classes to the music room to learn about Irish music in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day. Musicians learned about Irish instruments, learned to speak Irish, and even got to try the fiddle and accordion!
