
This is a reminder that Spring Sing is tonight at the Sanford Performing Arts Center! The event is free and starts at 6 p.m. It will feature vocal performances from all Sanford public schools for grades 4-12!

Sanford Middle School 8th graders and their families attended Rising 9th Grade Parent Night and Tours at the high school on Tuesday night!
Students learned about class choices they’ll have next year at high school during a presentation in the Performing Arts Center.
Following the presentation, students and parents had the chance to peek into classrooms and facilities to get a firsthand glimpse of what to expect next year!




Tonight is Sanford High School’s 3rd Annual High School Instrumental Showcase! It starts at 6 p.m. in the competition gym at the high school. The event is free and open to the public!


Sanford High School had its Winter Season Sports Award Presentations in the Performing Arts Center last night! Each coach took the time to reflect on their season and gave out individual awards to students.

This concert is a celebration of our amazing instrumental ensembles, featuring everything from winter guard to jazz bands, concert percussion groups to honors chamber groups, and our spectacular concert band! 🎶
The event is free and open to the public! Bring your friends, family, and neighbors for an unforgettable evening.


In science class at Carl J. Lamb, students examined how large structures are built using mud, glass, bricks, and wood. Students were also challenged to make strong paper towers to support a hard-covered book!

Margaret Chase Smith had its 1st Grade Writing Celebration before the February Vacation! Students delved into the world of nonfiction, exploring topics that piqued their curiosity and ignited their passion for learning. From fascinating animals to favorite sports, each young author embarked on a literary journey to share their newfound knowledge. The culmination of weeks of hard work was evident in the creative displays that adorned the classrooms.

Families at Margaret Chase Smith were invited to stroll through its “Cookies with Character” gallery on Thursday, February 15th.
Visitors witnessed the creativity, imagination, and smiles that went into each character's creation.
2nd grade students were proud to showcase their academic achievements in this reading unit.
