The Sanford Mainers David M. Ahern Memorial Scholarship is now accepting applications. According to the Sanford Mainers, the scholarship is awarded annually to a Sanford High School two-sport athlete who exemplifies great leadership and whose positive attitude encourages the growth of fellow teammates,  or a dedicated student who displays a strong passion for the arts and carries a GPA above a 3.0.
