Sanford High School students Elsie Gendron and Hannah Morgan were recently recognized at the Scholastic Art Awards Ceremony in Portland on Saturday, March 16th.
Elsie Received two Scholastic Gold Key awards at the ceremony, one honorable mention, and a Maine Excellence in Art Education award.
Hannah Received one Scholastic Gold Key award, one honorable mention, a Maine Excellence in Art Education award, and a Congressional Art Award honorable mention.
Both Elsie and Hannah’s self-portraits will be on display at the Capitol Complex in Augusta from March 20th to May 30th.
