Sanford Middle School's JMG classroom welcomed an exciting visitor last week. Billie Nelson Clark, the JMG/Bath Iron Works employment liaison, spent time with our students sharing valuable insights about careers in the trades. During the presentation, students learned about: Essential skills that employers like Bath Iron Works look for in potential employees What a day-to-day career at BIW actually looks like Hands-on experience with professional tools, including a practical exercise using tape measures (the same assessment used in BIW's actual hiring process!)

Good morning. Please be careful in our school parking lots and walkways. Our maintenance team and contractors have treated and salted but they still may be slippery as a result of yesterday’s rain/slush and drop in temperature. Please use caution.
