
On Monday, two Sanford High School students were recognized at the Southwestern Maine Activities Association (SMAA) Citizenship banquet.
Sydney Roux and Jared Riley won SMAA Citizenship Awards for Sanford.
They received their awards at the Italian Heritage Center in Portland along with the other 16 member schools.
Congratulations!


The National Honors Society’s Variety Show is tonight in the Sanford Performing Arts Center! Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m. It will be $3 for student entry and $5 for adults. Raffles and concessions will also be available.

Due to the forecast, Carl J. Lamb School is postponing tonight's Early Kindergarten Registration event. It has been rescheduled for Tuesday, April 9th, from 5:00-6:30pm in the CJL Library.

Carl J. Lamb Pre-K students made egg shakers and performed live for the front office staff with Miss Skvorak last week!


The students from Ms. McGuiggin’s second-grade classroom at Sanford Pride have been learning all about dinosaurs, and on Thursday, March 28th, they showcased all they’ve learned in a Dinosaur Museum!

For high schoolers needing community service, the MCS Pride PTA needs volunteers for the MCS Plant & Play event at MCS AND the SPE Pops & Planting event on Sunday, April 28th, from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. If you are interested in helping at either event, please email mcsptame@gmail.com.

Lillian, a fourth-grade Sanford Pride Elementary student, recently joined Mrs. Daly as the assistant principal for the day. The fourth-grade teachers recommended her for this role. Lillian consistently exhibits the Core Values (Courage, Honesty, Responsibility, Compassion, and Respect) that are very important at SPE. Way to go, Lillian!


SHS students were treated to an exceptional performance of Guys and Dolls this morning at the Performing Arts Center! This is a reminder that public performances of Guys and Dolls are tonight at 6:30 pm and tomorrow, March 30, at 1 pm and 6:30 pm.
