On Wednesday, Dec 11th from 6:30-8:30 pm at Sanford High School for parents/guardians of students grade 5-12 there will be an interactive presentation called Risky Business. Learn about warning signs of teen risky behaviors, receive training on current drug & alcohol trends and learn techniques for communicating with teens. Light refreshments will be served beginning at 6 pm. Enter through the Performing Arts Center entrance Door 43.

Bus 14 was in a minor traffic accident during the secondary run this afternoon. The bus will be running about 20 minutes late as a result.

Regular school start time this morning on Tuesday, November 12th. Please use caution and give yourself some extra time.

Veterans observance hosted by the students of Willard School at Memorial Gym. The 4th grade students performed songs of the US Armed Forces and all grades had a role in honoring those who serve and have served including those in attendance. Proud!

Packed house tonight at Alumni Stadium as Sanford hosts the 2019 Maine Band Director’s Association Marching Band Finals. The Spartans performed “The Storm.” Great job! Sounded and looked great.

Bus #3 is unable to travel down Oak Street in Springvale due to an accident on the road. Students on bus three at the following stops will be returned to their school and parents will need to arrange pick-up: Oak/Howard, Oak/Whipple/ 211 Oak Street and Oak/Roosevelt. All other students on bus #3 will be running 20-30 minutes behind. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
