Sanford Junior High hosted their annual Spelling Bee on Tuesday January 7th, 2020. With 42 contestants competing, it took over an hour for a winner to be crowned. 6th grader, Mia Cote, took home the title of SJHS Spelling Bee Champion and 7th grader, Noah Propper, was the respectable runner up. Mia & Noah will both represent Sanford Junior High at the York County Spelling Bee on February 4th,2020 at Biddeford Middle School. Best of luck Mia & Noah!


Packed house last night as Sanford High School in the Partners Bank gymnasium as our Wrestling team hosts the annual Sanford Invitational Wrestling Tournament. Teams from all over New England have traveled to Sanford to participate in the 2 day tournament.

The Sanford School Department is cancelling all after-school activities on Tuesday, December 17th. All students will be dismissed at their regular dismissal time.

Sanford High School Theater Company presents Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol" tonight at 7 PM and Sunday at 2 PM. Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for seniors and free for all students.
