Sanford Middle School and Sanford High School Athletes who need a physical will be able to receive one on Tuesday, August 8th, from 3-5 p.m. at Sanford High School in Room D105. Please use the Community Retail Center entrance near the greenhouse. The cost is $20. Checks can be made payable to York Hospital. Students must be accompanied by their parent/guardian or have the Limited Sports Exam form signed by their parent/guardian. All physicals are valid for two years from the date the physical was given. Members of the Student Leadership Team at Sanford Middle School volunteered to lead tours of the school for 4th graders from MCS, CJL, and Pride last week! They showed these incoming 5th graders all around the building, and did so with a smile.

The 8th grade band had a fantastic time at the Funtown Festival of Concert Bands a few weeks ago! After a fun but wet day in the park, the band performed for three judges and received an excellent clinic following their performance.

Sanford Middle School hosted its Step-Up Day for 4th-grade students from Sanford Pride and Carl J. Lamb elementary schools Monday Morning. The Step-Up Day provides the incoming 5th-grade students a chance to see the school they will attend in the fall. Student leaders from the middle school provided tours for the students, showing them around the school and providing valuable information about what to expect when they begin middle school in the fall.
