Dear SMS families and friends, We are deeply saddened to inform you that Monday morning, after a courageous battle with cancer, Chace Fromwiller passed away. Chace was a very special part of Sanford Middle School, and he will be greatly missed by the staff and students. Dealing with a loss can be difficult to understand for children. Supports will be in place for students at SMS to help with the grieving process. Attention SMS Parents: All fall sports are canceled today due to the heat index. Tryouts will now be on Thursday and Friday from 2:30-4:00 for Cross Country, Soccer, and Field Hockey. Paperwork can be brought to Mr. Allen during spartan time tomorrow, or brought to tryouts on Thursday!

Attention SMS Parents, you will be able to log into your Infinite Campus Portal on Friday, August 18th, to see your child's schedule. If you do not have a Portal, please contact Tracy Cole at tcole@sanford.org for assistance. Schedules will also be emailed to parents and students.
