In Ms. Syphers' ELA classes at Sanford Middle School, students finished their social issues unit by creating an amusement park based on their books' social issues. Students worked in groups and created different sections of their parks, which included rides, shopping areas, and concessions.

Sanford Middle School's cafeteria was buzzing with excitement and anticipation on Thursday, March 7th, as students, teachers, and families gathered for Sanford's Got Talent 2024 show. Organized by the school's JMG program, the event showcased the talents of the school's students in a variety of performances, including dance routines, vocal showcases, drum solos, ventriloquist acts, keyboard solos, and more. Over the weekend, a few Sanford Middle School 6th graders participated in an Honors Music Festival at York High School. The band and chorus were made up of students from 11 schools in southern Maine. Congratulations to our Sanford students!
