Mrs. Parker's kindergarten students are writing sentences as they get ready for first grade next year.

As part of our countdown at the end of the year, kindergarten is doing a fun activity for each letter of the alphabet. Checkout out some of their fish designs after listening to Rainbow Fish.

Our 4th grade was able to visit the Gundalow Company in Portsmouth Monday and Tuesday as part of their CKLA unit on Treasure Island. They learned how to steer a gundalow, where merchants built warehouses, how the lumbermen used the natural resources in the area and the best way to tie knots. Thank you to the donors who helped fund this experience!

Margaret Chase Smith Pre-K students have been exploring how plants and animals grow, diving into gardens from around the world, and discovering the magic that happens when a tiny seed becomes a plant.
One of our favorite moments? Welcoming families in to plant their very first seeds together.
We are also sharpening our rhyming and counting skills every day as we look ahead to an exciting milestone: Kindergarten! Our students are growing in so many ways, and we could not be more proud!

Today we recognize our amazing Administrative Professionals', Ms. Malcolm and Ms. Hanson, for all of their hard work and dedication at MCS! They keep our front office running smoothly with love and attention!
