Sanford Middle School’s Fishing Club wrapped up an amazing first season with over 25 students from 5th through 8th grade!
What started as one student's idea became a reality thanks to Social Worker Brent Coleman, who listened when a student wished the school had a fishing club.
🌟 The best part? The Sanford Police Department stepped up in a huge way! They purchased individual fishing poles for each club member to keep as their own, plus donated all the equipment needed. School Resource Officer Joe Jourdain even volunteered his time as a club facilitator.
