
COME JOIN US! Carl J. Lamb PTA’s Holiday Craft Fair is around the corner! Join us on Saturday, November 19th, at 233 Shaws Ridge Road in Springvale from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. The fair is open to the public, and is a fundraiser for the school’s PTA. In addition to 66 craft fair vendor booths, we will have a concession stand, gift wrapping booth, photography booth, and an apparel sale! There will also be a gift wrapping fundraiser where high school students will have a booth for folks to pay a small fee to have their gifts purchased at the craft fair wrapped for them.

The Department of Health and Human Services held training yesterday in an ongoing collaboration with Sanford Public Schools! In attendance were school counselors, administrators, social workers, outreach workers, attendance coordinators and nurses.

Job openings include Ed Techs, School Counselor and Seal Team. Both the BRIDGE and SEAL programs work to support students who have not been successful in the typical school setting and use non-traditional approaches to help students be successful.

High Schoolers, there will be a Halloween Costume Dance on Saturday, October 29th from 7-10pm! 🎃👻🎶 Tickets are $10 and will be sold during lunches this week, in the Asst. Principals office and at the door. There will be a prize for the best costume, so keep the school dress code in mind. No full-coverage face masks will be permitted. Join us for spooky decor, fun dance music and some fun Halloween songs! This is a fundraiser put on by the 2023 SHS Abroad students.

THE SPARTANS ARE IN THE PLAYOFFS! Tonight at 6 pm at Partners Bank Gymnasium, our 5th-seeded Varsity Volleyball Team will host the 12th-seeded Windham Eagles for a prelim game!

The MCS Pride PTA is in need of volunteers for their Halloween Trick or Treating Event at MCS on 10/27. They need help with set up from 3:30-5:00pm, during the event from 5:00-7:30pm, and cleanup after the event from 7:30-8:00pm. If you are able to volunteer, please contact us at mcsptame@gmail.com.

Good morning, This is an important announcement from the Sanford School Department. Bus #15 will be out of service on Tuesday, October 18th due to a driver shortage. Our Pre-K bus #13 will run as scheduled.

High School Juniors and Seniors, this years Powder Puff game is November 13th. The Powder Puff Football Game is an annual tradition at Sanford High School. This year we will be offering concessions, the Chuck-A-Duck competition, a 50/50 Raffle and an EPIC Half-Time Show, filled with cheering routines, youth football matches, and the crowning of our Powder Puff King! It is a Community Event for all ages!
