During this morning's monthly assembly, students at Margaret Chase Smith School presented their February Food Collection to Reverend Susan from the Sanford Food Pantry. During February, each grade was challenged to collect 100 nonperishable items for the food pantry. The school donated a total of over 1,000 items! Way to go!

If you apply by the deadline, you will need to participate in a short interview which will take place on either 3/21 (Tuesday) or 3/22 (Wednesday) Interviews are scheduled by SRTC and communicated to applicants and teachers. There was a bunch of media coverage at the Sanford Police Department yesterday afternoon for a press conference that identified the remains that were found ​​during a construction site excavation in 2017. Sanford High School history teacher Paul Auger championed this case and had some of his students research the artifacts to try and get any information they could.
