Good evening. This is a message from the Sanford School Department. We apologize for calling so late but due to the weather forecast and impending snow storm, there will be no school on Tuesday, March 14, 2023. We are making the notification now to help with planning. This will be our 5th snow day. The last day of school is now Tuesday, June 13th.

In September, we expect to continue offering full-day pre-k programming at Carl J. Lamb School, Margaret Chase Smith School, Sanford Pride Elementary School, and Sanford Regional Technical Center. In these Pre-K programs, children participate in age-appropriate learning experiences that promote school readiness and support holistic development. Our programs focus on reading and math skills, creativity, health and nutrition, and social-emotional development. The lottery registration will close at the end of the day on Friday, March 31, 2023. Come out to the 2nd Annual High School Instrumental Showcase TOMORROW! The concerts starts at 6 p.m. in the competition gym at the high school. It features every instrumental ensemble SHS offers. It's a really great concert to see the variety of music that our students are able to perform!
