Carl J. Lamb School had fun celebrating Read Across America Week last week. On March 2nd, each grade level dropped everything to read! We brought in our favorite books, read to our stuffies and our book buddies! CJL Students and Staff LOVE to read!
Come out to the 2nd Annual High School Instrumental Showcase TOMORROW! The concerts starts at 6 p.m. in the competition gym at the high school. It features every instrumental ensemble SHS offers. It's a really great concert to see the variety of music that our students are able to perform!

There was a packed house at the Sanford Performing Arts Center for the Spring Sing Concert on Wednesday, March 1st. The concert featured Sanford’s combined high, middle, and elementary school choruses.

Reminder! The Sanford Backpack Program is holding a FREE food distribution TODAY from 3:00 pm-6:00 p.m. at the high school. This is the third year they have done this and they have increased the pounds of food this year again. This is open to all families in the Sanford Springvale area, everyone is welcome and no questions asked. Please wait till 3:00 pm and enter form the Rt. 4 entrance to 100 Alumni Blvd. Traffic will be directed to the designated food pick up area. Be courteous of other drivers and their volunteers and they hope to see you there.

The Pre-K lottery registration for the 2023-2024 school year is now open. The lottery registration will close at the end of the day on Friday, March 31st, 2023. The CJL PTA Kids' Ice Fishing Derby scheduled for Sat. Feb 18, in partnership with the Sanford Parks and Recreation, has been cancelled due to dangerous ice conditions on #1 Pond.
