There is a parent information night tonight at Sanford Middle School for incoming 5th grade families. It will be held in the cafeteria. There will be a short presentation followed by an open house visit.

Good evening, Due to rain in Monday's forecast, we are moving the CJL field day to Tuesday. We are flip-flopping the lunch menu for Monday and Tuesday as well to coincide with this change. Thank you!

Good afternoon, https://5il.co/1vovj Here is our weekly newsletter for CJL Families. Tomorrow we're having Field Day. Please send your child to school with sneakers and a water bottle with their first and last name on it. Teachers should have communicated about what color shirt to dress your child in. This Friday is the last day of school for Pre-K and Kindergarten. Kindergarten screening for next year's kinders is June 12th. June 13th is the last day of school for grades 1-4. We're very proud of all our learners and are looking forward to ending the year on a high note! Congratulations to the Sanford High School graduates! "Oh, the places you'll go!" Please remember to vote on the school budget on June 13th! Hope you all have a great week ahead!

Good morning, Here is this week's family newsletter. https://5il.co/1usrm The last day of Pre-K and Kindergarten is Friday, June 9th. The last day of school for grades 1-4 is Tuesday, June 13th. The last day of school dates are the same for all our elementary schools in Sanford. School attendance is still very important because we're in the midst of NWEA testing (reading and math), Benchmark assessments (reading levels), Early Bird Screening (dyslexia screening), and have many fun events planned such as field trips, Chewonki, a talent show, concerts, art shows, ice cream social, field day, BBQ, and more. Enjoy your Sunday and have a great week ahead!

Carl J. Lamb had their career fair today! Representatives from local communities explained their positions and how students can find their interests in school to match their careers. Some of the representatives included Sanford Assistant Fire Chief Rick Smith and School Resource Officer Joe Jourdain. SHS alumn Samantha Brink is now the Vice President of Extended Learning Opportunities for the Maine Department of Education, and she helped set up the career fair.
