Plus we're having a famous author visit on Monday, a spirit week all week, a pep rally on Friday afternoon, and the CJL Kids' Color Fun Run is next Saturday morning, May 14th, registration at 8:30am! Good morning CJL, Here's the CJL Newsletter for the week of May 1st! https://5il.co/19p44 The last day of school for grades 1-4 is June 10th. The last day for kindergarteners is June 7th. Attendance matters. We have a lot of learning left to acquire. A lot of academic growth happens this time of year, now that foundational skills are solid and able to be built upon. Due to the chance of rain in our weather forecast today, CJL's Nature Club has been cancelled. We are unable to do the planned activities for Nature Club indoors. However, CJL's Running Club will still be held today as planned, as we are able to accommodate this club indoors, if need be.

Correction: Running Club for grades 2 through 4 is on Tuesdays (not Thursdays, as it incorrectly states in our newsletter). Thank you

Tonight at 6pm at Sanford Performing Arts Center (Thursday, March 24th, 2022): Reminder that there is an internet safety night for parents tonight at the Sanford Performing Arts Center at 6pm. Learn about ways to keep your child safe online. Learn parental controls for Nintendo Switch. Learn how to discuss with your child the importance of not sharing personal information online. Learn how to best access privacy settings on cell phones and iPads. Learn how to navigate the apps that some children have learned to use to hide pics and videos.

Your child's teacher will be sharing the flyer as a PDF on their platforms. What will you learn? Learn about ways to keep your child safe online. Good afternoon CJL Families, We wanted to thank everyone who participated in Snowshoe Club which has now officially ended. The CJL PTA is unable to offer a second session due to weather and the amount of snow that we have. We apologize to students on our waitlist.
