When the lights come up on Sanford High School’s fall play this weekend, the stars will shine! Audiences will be dazzled by the wit, the charm, the costumes and the props. What they may not consciously notice, but just as necessary to an amazing performance and audience experience, are the lights and sounds that support the dramatic talent on stage.
Last week, 23 JMG 8th-grade students had the opportunity to attend the Maine Youth Action Network's Leadership Summit.

​Sanford High School held its Fall Sports Award Presentations in the Sanford Performing Arts Center on Monday, November 13th, to recognize student-athletes and their teams' accomplishments and hard work.
​Sanford High School senior Hannah Paterson and junior Quang Lam were recently accepted to Jazz All-State.

​The Sources of Strength 8th Grade Peer Leaders planted tulip bulbs last week in the front of the school as part of a mental health awareness campaign called The Yellow Tulip Project.
Congratulations to the Sanford High School Marching Band on their 5-star Gold Medal performance at the Maine Band Directors Association (MBDA) State Marching Band Finals at Alumni Stadium on Saturday, November 4th.
Sanford Middle School’s JMG Program held its annual Haunted Woods event on Wednesday, November 1st. The event is student-led and organized, with JMG teacher Tara Houle as their guide. The event began in 2012 when students needed to raise funds to attend a volunteering trip they wanted to go to.
Kiwanis in Sanford made a donation to the SRTC Building Trades Program, recognizing the program's dedication to revitalizing Cobb Stadium.
