Today we investigated why polar bears are white. We learned that some animals camouflage because they might get eaten (prey) and others are camouflaged so they can hunt without being seen (predators). We had to find and make camouflaged moths. The kids had fun hiding and finding them. by Mrs. Deschambault

As with everything this year staff, parent, and students have had to be very flexible. In the past a standard in 4th grade music was learning to read and play notes. Many of you remember the plastic recorders. With COVID-19 restrictions not wanting large volume of air being dispersed, our music teachers have become creative and flexible by teaching students how to meet these standards by learning to read and play notes on ukuleles.
