A huge thank you to our students, teachers, staff and families for all of your efforts this past school year. It was a challenging year like no other but I am so proud of the Sanford School Department (SSD). As we enter the last week of school we are removing the face coverings requirement while outside provided that we keep the appropriate distance and not remain in one spot for more than 15 minutes. The face coverings requirement while in school at all times (except for eating) will remain in place to be in compliance with MDOE/CDC guidance. Enjoy the weekend.

We are pleased to notify you that Sanford High School and Sanford Middle School are working with Maine Health to offer an optional Pfizer COVID vaccination to Sanford students, 12 years of age or older. Vaccinations are available for both in-person and remote learners. The Sanford High School Clinic will be held this Friday, May 14th from 9-4. The Sanford Middle School Clinic will be held next Monday, May 17th from 9-4. Please complete the attached forms and return them to your schools’ main office by 3:00 pm the school day prior to vaccination if possible for planning purposes.
