A huge congratulations to former Sanford High School basketball coach Bruce MacKinnon, who was recently named to the Maine Basketball Hall of Fame Class of 2023! MacKinnon coached at Sanford from 1973 to 1985 and won 125 games. MacKinnon was also the principal at SHS until he retired in 1993. He will be inducted at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor on August 20th.

Perhaps your Department could put together a flash mob or you and your work bestie could do a duet. Our goal is to make Valentine's Day a fun day for all staff and students. If you're a high schooler looking for community service, North Parish Church at 895 Main St, Sanford (across from Partner's Bank) is looking for volunteers to provide childcare on Sundays from 10:00-11:30 a.m. Time will be spent playing or doing a craft (which will be provided by us).
