Happy Labor Day. This is just a quick reminder that school begins tomorrow, September 3rd. I am excited to be working with the 8th grade staff at Sanford High School. I am looking forward to helping your child have a great school year. I have a few reminders for you: 1. Drop off in the morning starts at 7:10 2. Dismissal starts at 2:20 p.m. 3. There is parking in the students’ parking lot and near the football stadium. The drive way loop in front of the main entrance is for our smaller buses until approximately 2:35. 4. School Pictures are September 3rd. 5. We are starting on a Red Day. Also, band and chorus for 8th grade will start this week. The first meeting for band will be Thursday, September 5 during tutorial in the band room. Students will not need their instruments that day. The first meeting for chorus will be Friday, September 6 during tutorial in the chorus room. This year 8th grade band and lessons will be on Red Days and Chorus will be on White Days. Congratulations to the cast and crew of Little Shop of Horrors. A full house got to see the first musical at Sanford High School in many years. In case you missed it, there is another performance tonight beginning at 7:00 pm in the performing arts center. Also, check out the art show at Sanford High School before the show. Doors open at 6:00 pm. So proud of our students and their wonderful talents!
