Please use the Community Retail Center entrance near the greenhouse. The cost is $20. Checks can be made payable to York Hospital. Students must be accompanied by their parent/guardian or have the Limited Sports Exam form signed by their parent/guardian. The Limited Sports Exam form can be found on the athletic webpage for the highschool under Athlete Forms.

There's a tour opportunity for incoming freshman and transfer students at Sanford High School on Wednesday, July 12th, at 12 p.m. Meet us in front of the main entrance of the high school for tours!
Members of the Student Leadership Team at Sanford Middle School volunteered to lead tours of the school for 4th graders from MCS, CJL, and Pride last week! They showed these incoming 5th graders all around the building, and did so with a smile.
The 8th grade band had a fantastic time at the Funtown Festival of Concert Bands a few weeks ago! After a fun but wet day in the park, the band performed for three judges and received an excellent clinic following their performance.
Summer vacation is upon us, and once again, the Maine Department of Education is collaborating with the Free Masons of Maine to sponsor the Read to Ride Summer Reading Challenge for students in grades PK-8. If you read at least 500 minutes this summer, you qualify for a chance to win one of 48 bikes and helmets generously donated by the Maine Freemasons. Read more here!

A packed house was at the Sanford Middle School cafeteria on Tuesday for the school's JMG program closing ceremony. The ceremony was to celebrate students' success and hard work in the program. Read more about it here!

Graduating seniors received their caps and gowns this morning then walked through the middle school and all of the elementary schools this morning, with students and staff at all of the schools cheering them on. Congratulations!
Sanford Middle School hosted its Step-Up Day for 4th-grade students from Sanford Pride and Carl J. Lamb elementary schools Monday Morning.
The Step-Up Day provides the incoming 5th-grade students a chance to see the school they will attend in the fall.
Student leaders from the middle school provided tours for the students, showing them around the school and providing valuable information about what to expect when they begin middle school in the fall.

There is a parent information night tonight at Sanford Middle School for incoming 5th grade families. It will be held in the cafeteria. There will be a short presentation followed by an open house visit.
Congratulations to SMS students Olivia Kaeppel, Violette Jones and Cheyenne Colon who helped Maine’s Eyecon cheer team from Port City Athletics win the Championship Challenge on May 24th! They will be receiving championship rings!
