Sanford High School and Regional Technical Center is set to host its annual Career and College Fair tomorrow in Partners Bank Gymnasium, bringing together 80 organizations offering students a comprehensive look at their post-graduation possibilities.
The event represents the full spectrum of opportunities available to students. Whether students are considering higher education, technical training, immediate career entry, or military service, the Career and College Fair offers direct access to recruiters, admissions officers, and industry professionals who can help shape their future paths.

Enrollment for Early College courses for Spring 2025 is now open. If you are interested in taking a dual enrollment course and need help registering, please fill out the form below so we can book you for a help session on November 15th during Spartan Time.
Beginning in their sophomore year, academically eligible students can take up to 12 college credits for free through either Maine's public universities or community colleges. Credits taken beyond 12 credits will be offered at a reduced tuition rate through the college/university.

Good luck to SHS sophomore Isaac Pelletier as he competes this Saturday, November 2nd in the State Cross Country Meet. The meet will be held at the Twin Brook Rec Facility in Cumberland. The Class A Boy's race will start at 12:20 pm. Isaac finished last weekend's regional race with a time of 18:26 and placed 28th out of 112 runners.
The boy's Cross Country Team will also be receiving an award as the recipient of the Maine Principals Association Class A South Sportsmanship winners. Congratulations to Coach Smith, Coach Strout, and our boys runners.

Our 4th seed SHS Field Hockey team will host 5th seed Thornton Academy tonight in a Regional Quarterfinal matchup! The game will be played at Alumni Stadium at 6:00 pm. The winner will advance to the Semi-Finals on Saturday 11/2.

The Maine Band Directors Association State Marching Band Finals is this Saturday at Alumni Stadium! The show starts at 5 pm, with the Spartan Marching Band performing at 5:45 pm. Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for students and seniors, with a $20 family max.
This year’s show has seen success at the national level, when the band took home 1st place in best music, percussion, color guard, effect and visual at the USBands UMass Amherst Invitational!

Important postseason information for our fall high school sports teams!
Our 9th seed Girls Soccer team will travel to play the #8th seed Kennebunk Rams on Friday, October 25th for a 4:00 pm game at Kennebunk High School.The winner of this Class A South Prelim game will move on to the Quarterfinals which will be played on Tuesday 10/29.
Our Cross-Country team will be traveling this Saturday, October 26th to compete in the Class A Southern Regional Championship. They will be running at the Twin Brook Recreational Facility in Cumberland. The boys will run at 12:20 and the girls will run 1:00 pm. The top 30 runners from the boys and girls will compete the following weekend once again at Twin Brook.
