
This morning, Carl J. Lamb's Spartan Show Choir hosted an Outreach concert for our Pre-K and Kindergarten students and families. The students chose songs, choreographed dances, and coordinated costumes to get ready!

Carl J. Lamb Pre-K students made egg shakers and performed live for the front office staff with Miss Skvorak last week!


Attention Parents/Guardians: CJL Art Club is cancelled today, April 2nd, 2024. Students will be dismissed their normal way. Thank you!

Dear Parents and Guardians, Medications for students are not to be sent in students' backpacks. If a student needs medication at school, it is to be handed a parent/guardian directly to the nurse, administrator, or school secretary. Doctors' orders are needed and a pharmacy label needs to be affixed to the bottle with student's name. Cough drops are not allowed in elementary schools due to choking hazards. This is a reminder that kindergarten registration nights are tonight at Margaret Chase Smith and Sanford Pride. Carl J. Lamb is hosting its registration night next Wednesday.
Sanford families with children who will be five years old before 10/15/24 are encouraged to attend, meet staff, fill out registration paperwork, and learn about the transition to Kindergarten.

On Friday, March 15th, Carl J. Lamb welcomed sixteen classes to the music room to learn about Irish music in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day.
Musicians learned about Irish instruments, learned to speak Irish, and even got to try the fiddle and accordion!


Carl J. Lamb held an assembly recognizing students who participated in Jump Rope for Heart with certificates!
Children who raised the most for the American Heart Association got to pie a staff member of their choice.

In science class at Carl J. Lamb, students examined how large structures are built using mud, glass, bricks, and wood. Students were also challenged to make strong paper towers to support a hard-covered book!
