On PebbleGo.com, your child can read, or have read to them, interesting articles about things they love. I've used it with my students for years. Good morning CJL Families, This is a reminder of two events happening today: 1) Sanford Backpack Program’s Free Community Food Distribution: 1/21/21 TODAY from 3:30-5:30 @ Willard school and Lafayette school. 2) Dr. Guay’s ADHD and anxiety presentation via Zoom. This is a message from the Sanford School Department. We would like to remind parents that this winter we may have “traditional” or “remote” learning snow days. In the event a remote learning snow day is called, your child’s teacher will post the schedule for the morning meeting and provide further directions in either Seesaw or Google Classroom for your child to access lessons for the day. If you have any questions, please contact your child’s teacher.

Good news! We have been told by Studio By The Pond that school pictures for CJL’s in person learners will be here tomorrow. They’ll be given to teachers to send home with students on their next in person day.

Tonight, Ms. Devon Garabedian read a very lovely bedtime story to the CJL students who joined us via Zoom at 7:00pm. If you missed it, try again, because for the next five Thursdays Ms. G. has some more wonderful stories for you to enjoy at 7:00pm! Snuggle up and cozy in on these “longest nights of the year.” Thank you so much to Ms. G. and thank you to all of our students and families who attended. You were great listeners and it was so nice to see you! Thank you to our PTA for this fantastic idea! Congratulations to our very own PTA co-president, Amy Sevigny, on being elected as one of the newest members of the Sanford School Committee! We’re very proud of and grateful for you! This is a reminder that the CJL Full Remote Students (full remote with teachers AND full remote with Calvert) have an opportunity to have their school pictures taken at the Memorial Gym lobby on Oct. 26th and Oct. 27th. I have attached a photo with the exact schedule. Smile!
