Margaret Chase Smith Pride PTA is hosting a Teacher Wish List Drive. They are seeking donations for classroom supplies to help get our teachers and students through the second half of the year. The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard is coming to Sanford High School and SRTC on Monday, Jan. 30th for a presentation on their apprenticeship program and other employment opportunities at the Shipyard. There will be two presentations. If you are interested please see Mrs. Schindler in room D211 (Second floor green wing) to sign up. This is an opportunity to learn more about PNSY's apprenticeship program and some hints on applying before the hiring event in February. This cohort of apprentices will start in June after graduation.
Good morning. This is a message from the Sanford School Department. There will be a one hour delay to the start of the school day on Thursday, January 26th. I also wanted to let you know that Bus # 2 will be out of service on Thursday, January 26th, due to a driver shortage. Normal service for bus #2 will resume on Friday.

Good afternoon. Tonight's Sanford School Committee Workshop at 5:30 PM and School Committee Meeting at 6:30 PM have been postponed and rescheduled for Monday, January 30th at the same times. Tonight's School Committee workshop at 3:00 PM and budget workshop at 4:30 PM are still on as scheduled.

Reminder that the freshman class is hosting a paint night here at SHS on February 3rd 5:30-7:30PM. The cost is $20 where an artist shows you how to create a beautiful piece of art.
