Attention all Sanford and Springvale residents. A reminder that the school budget validation is today. Please be sure to vote Polls are open until 8:00 PM. Voter turnout so far has been light. Every vote counts. Thank you for your continued support of Sanford schools.
A reminder for all eligible Sanford and Springvale residents to please vote this Tuesday, June 11th in support of our school budget.
Polls will be open 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
- Ward 1 will vote at Nasson Community Center
- Ward 2 will vote at St. Ignatius gym
- Ward 3 will vote at the new SHS/ SRTC
Voters will notice an inflated budget compared to last year due to 3.4 million dollars in state-funded construction projects that uses the school budget as a pass thru.
Voters will also be asked if they want to continue future budget referendums or if they support the current budget review and approval process utilized by school administration, the school committee, budget committee and city council.

Reminder that tonight SJHS will be hosting a parent orientation for incoming 5th and 6th graders from 5-6pm. Families can tour the building to start followed by an announcement to gather in the gymnasium for some school year information.

School budget validation referendum next Tuesday, June 11th. The last day to request an absentee ballot is this Thursday, June 6th. The city clerk's office at City Hall will be open until 7:00 PM that evening for residents to come in person to vote or register if needed.
Our Health Occupations program at SRTC had their CNA pinning ceremony in the Agora. Congratulations on your hard work and worthy accomplishment.

Attention 7th grade parents: In anticipation of 8th graders maybe relocating to the new SHS next year, tours of the 8th grade space will be given on the following dates and times: Thur 6/6 at 12 PM, Fri 6/7 at 8 AM and Tues 6/11 at 4:30/5/5:30/6 PM. Please meet at main entrance.
Plants Plus will be closed Thursday (5/30) and Friday (5/31) in the morning until 10:00 am due to off-site work for the Landscaping and Horticulture class.
