Reminder! The Sanford Backpack Program is holding a FREE food distribution TODAY from 3:00 pm-6:00 p.m. at the high school. This is the third year they have done this and they have increased the pounds of food this year again. This is open to all families in the Sanford Springvale area, everyone is welcome and no questions asked. Please wait till 3:00 pm and enter form the Rt. 4 entrance to 100 Alumni Blvd. Traffic will be directed to the designated food pick up area. Be courteous of other drivers and their volunteers and they hope to see you there.

The Pre-K lottery registration for the 2023-2024 school year is now open. The lottery registration will close at the end of the day on Friday, March 31st, 2023. The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard is coming to Sanford High School and SRTC on Monday, Jan. 30th for a presentation on their apprenticeship program and other employment opportunities at the Shipyard. There will be two presentations. If you are interested please see Mrs. Schindler in room D211 (Second floor green wing) to sign up. This is an opportunity to learn more about PNSY's apprenticeship program and some hints on applying before the hiring event in February. This cohort of apprentices will start in June after graduation.
