Mr. Bushnell’s Holocaust English class has used their research experience to create a pop up museum to inform their peers about the history of genocide around the world.

In Kelly Tibbetts’ class students are presenting their research your life capstone projects in which they share their high school experiences, examples of citizenship,
post secondary plans, and future to a panel of outside visitors as a way to prepare for real life job interviews and panel presentations that they will be doing after high school.

Scott Sheppard visited the JMG classroom to talk about the importance of community service and his role as a Sanford School Committee member. Mr. Sheppard, a SHS alumni, shared his life experiences and career choices with students and encouraged them to do job shadows. In addition, Mr. Sheppard discussed the newly implemented cell phone policy and how it applies to the real world workforce.
