The Maine Department of Education is now accepting nominations for Teacher of the Tear. Nominations can be made through a form on the Maine Teacher of the Year Website from now until 5:00 p.m. on January 31st, 2024. They are accepted by students, parents, caregivers, community members, school administrators, colleagues, college faculty members, and associations/organizations. An Athletic Hall of Honor is coming to Sanford High School. Much like a Hall of Fame, Sanford’s Hall of Honor will induct former high school athletes, coaches, contributors, and teams who made a significant impact during their time. It also plans to reconnect those individuals and families with the Sanford School Department and enhance the current student-athlete understanding and pride in the history of SHS athletics.
