Mrs. Fagle and Ms. Tounge wanted to share some good things happening in Pre K! The year has started off great with students making new friends and learning how to be in school. We had a really fun visit to McDougal's Orchard with our Pre K families and have been exploring fall themes with apple painting, leaf silhouettes, and our five little pumpkins song! We have been incorporating new math games to our routines from our recent young mathematicians training.

Mrs. Spencer’s (Mercier) Kindergarten classroom has been doing center days like barber shop, cup building, slime and Q-Tip fall paintings. Students have enjoyed their fun center days.

Second graders have been learning all about Fairy Tales and Tall Tales. One of our favorite Tall Tales is Paul Bunyan. After listening to the story, we tried our hand at a perspective drawing to show just how tall he was. We also got to eat one of his favorite foods - flapjacks!! Yum!
