At Sanford Pride Elementary before winter break, students experienced the engaging Ned's Mindset Mission assembly! 🪀
Through a blend of life lessons and impressive yo-yo demonstrations, students learned about growth mindset and the power of "YET." It was inspiring to see our students so engaged as they discovered how to turn challenges into opportunities.

Hello SPE Families, Bus 15 students will be taking bus 2 home today. Thank you.

Good News From The Student Support Room
One of the best parts of working in our Student Support Room (SSR) is getting a chance to meet so many of our Pride Students from Pre-K to 4th grade.
Over the past years, I have met hundreds of students who totally enjoy having a support room at school where they can come to take a break during their day.
Our SSR has become a positive part of Pride school culture and has helped many students adjust and settle into their daily school routines.
Students enjoy the activities, the music, and the calmness of the room.
I see many students a day who come to the SSR when they are feeling a bit tired, sad or homesick, and by the time their 10 minute timing goes off to return to class, they seem to be in a better emotional place.
I am amazed at how a quick break, in a different classroom setting, can help support a student to get through their school day. A change in environment can have a positive effect on how a student feels.
I have met many students who were shy at first, and then after a few visits to the support room, became more relaxed, comfortable, and wanted to connect with me during their visit.
Students are very respectful when they come to the SSR. They take pride in knowing the expectations and routines that they must follow when taking a break.
This year at Pride has been extremely busy in the SSR. I look forward to 2025, and all the students that I will continue to meet.
Happy New Year!
