During a third-grade enrichment class at Sanford Pride Elementary, students were placed in groups of 2 or 3. They were given 30 mini marshmallows and 15 pieces of dry spaghetti.
They had to work with their partners and decide the best way to build their skyscraper to stand without being touched.
All the students did a great job working with their partners. They were challenged to try this at home during our very snowy Saturday to see if they could build one taller.

Good evening. This is a message from the Sanford School Department. We apologize for calling so late but due to the weather forecast and impending snow storm, there will be no school on Tuesday, March 14, 2023. We are making the notification now to help with planning. This will be our 5th snow day. The last day of school is now Tuesday, June 13th.

Ms. Sawyer & Mrs. Cyr were presented with a thank you gift for their dedication to the Sanford Pride Elementary students during National School Social Work Week last week.
