Just a reminder that Picture Retake Day is tomorrow for our Group A students and on Friday for our Group B students. Studio by the Pond will be arriving around noon time each day.
Today in Mrs. Morrison's class, her math students worked hard practicing their 1:1 counting and using the drawing tool to cross out items as they count them. This strategy is great when counting lots of items to ensure you do not miss one. Students also generated a list of different ways they can count math manipulatives (counters, pattern blocks, erasers, etc.).
I hope everyone had an enjoyable long weekend and a memorable Indigenous People Day. This is just a quick reminder that Group B students are in school tomorrow. Please remember to charge your device and pack it to be brought to school.

Hello MCS families! Studio by the Pond will be taking photos for those students who were not present for our original picture day back in September. The photographers will be at MCS on Thursday, October 15th for group A students and Friday, October 16th for group B students starting at 12pm. Please reach out to your child's teacher if you would like an order form be sent home, or click on the attached link for details and pricing.

I apologize for the late notice. School picture order forms will be going home tomorrow for Group A and on Friday for Group B. School Pictures for Group A will be this Monday, September 28th, and this Tuesday, September 29th, for Group B.
Also, Sanford's Backpack Food Distribution will be happening tomorrow from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Lafayette School.

Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to let you know that the teachers have been having some difficulty with Morning Meetings. There is a handful of teachers who will be holding their Morning Meeting tomorrow, with everyone having one this Wednesday and moving forward. The only grad level this will not occur is kindergarten as the teachers are working with the students to be independent with the logins.
