Double the excitement at Margaret Chase Smith Elementary last week! Pre-K and Kindergarten students wowed their families with back-to-back showcases. Kindergarteners became wildlife experts, guiding visitors through interactive stations about fish, frogs, owls, and wolves. From building salmon habitats to acting out stories, these young scientists showed off their knowledge of animal adaptations and life cycles. Meanwhile, Pre-K students sparkled at their Literacy Showcase, mastering letter formation with creative tools like mini erasers and tackling winter-themed word activities. Thank you to all the families who joined us!

We start each day with a Morning Meeting to build a strong sense of community and connection among our students. By incorporating Regulated Classroom activities, we create a supportive environment that fosters collaboration, emotional well-being, and readiness for learning. Check out Mrs. Collop's class using their eyes and ears to complete a game of concentration.
