COVID

January 17, 2022

Good evening,

With the recent surge of COVID 19 due to Omicron, please encourage your child to wear their mask consistently and correctly.  It’s important to make sure your child’s mask fits them properly.  Masks should fit snugly over the nose and mouth and under the chin with no gaps around the side.  For CDC tips on improving how your mask protects you click here.

Remember to complete the Daily Screening Tool  and stay home if you show symptoms.  Although individuals who test positive may now leave isolation on day 6 if they are asymptomatic and family members of people who are positive may attend school if they are asymptomatic, the Sanford School Department strongly recommends that students consider remaining in isolation/quarantine for 10 days out of an abundance of caution.
