Sanford High School Theater Company Presents Peter and the Starcatcher, November 13–15
SANFORD, Maine — Before Neverland, before Captain Hook, and before a boy named Peter Pan, there was an adventure waiting to happen.
Sanford High School Theater Company will present Peter and the Starcatcher at Sanford Performing Arts Center on Friday, November 13, and Saturday, November 14, at 7 p.m., and Sunday, November 15, at 2 p.m.
Starring Jaiden Mann as Peter Pan and featuring 45 students in the cast and crew, this Tony Award-winning play takes audiences on an imaginative journey filled with pirates, shipwrecks, unlikely heroes, and a mysterious treasure called starstuff. Along the way, an orphan known only as Boy and a determined young girl named Molly help set the stage for the familiar world of Peter Pan.
The production’s creative team includes Artistic Director Brett Williams, Backstage Director and Costume Designer Kristie Baker, and Lighting Designer Jeff Perry.
“Anyone who knows Peter Pan will love discovering how his story began,” said Williams. “There’s so much humor and imagination in this play, and our students bring a wonderful energy to it. It’s a great opportunity to come out and enjoy live theater and support our talented students.”
