Sanford Middle School had a great night as Sanford's Got Talent brought nearly 20 acts to the stage for a packed and enthusiastic crowd.
The student talent competition featured a standout field of performers, with Anthony Flayhan claiming first place for the second consecutive year. Jolie Edmonds earned second place, followed by Hannah Brunneault in third, Madilynn Treasure in fourth, and Ivy Peters rounding out the top five in fifth place. An Honorable Mention was also awarded to Emma Stadvec.
What makes Sanford's Got Talent unique is that the event is entirely student-run. Students from the JMG program go through a real-world job attainment process — including applications and interviews — to be selected for their roles in producing the show, from behind-the-scenes coordination to on-site photography.
Congratulations to all of the performers who took the stage and to the JMG students who made the night possible.
