Margaret Chase Smith first grade students proudly welcomed families for a special Learning Showcase to celebrate their knowledge from the CKLA Space unit on Wednesday.
Students confidently explained key vocabulary, facts, and concepts they’ve been studying showing impressive growth in both reading comprehension and content knowledge.
From detailed writing pieces to creative projects, families were able to see just how much their young astronomers have learned.
We are so proud of our first graders for shining bright and sharing their learning with such excitement and confidence. It was truly an out-of-this-world afternoon
