The Performing Arts Center has been filled with the sounds of the season as Sanford Middle School students showcased their musical talents in two winter performances.
On Wednesday, December 10, seventh and eighth grade musicians took the stage. The evening featured the Seventh Grade Band, Eighth Grade Band, and combined Seventh and Eighth Grade Chorus, performing a diverse repertoire of seasonal favorites and contemporary pieces under the direction of band instructor Joshua Hyssong.
The series concluded on Monday, December 16, with fifth and sixth grade students presenting their holiday program under the direction of band instructor Kyle Hayes, rounding out a week of outstanding musical performances.
These concerts represent countless hours of rehearsal and dedication from students and staff alike, and showcase the vibrant arts programming available to Sanford students.
