Margaret Chase Smith Kindergarten and Pre-K students received an exciting fire safety education visit from the Sanford Fire Department this week!
During the visit, firefighters taught the young learners essential safety skills, including the "stop, drop, and roll" technique and how to respond when hearing a smoke alarm. Students were thrilled to see firefighters demonstrate their protective gear and had the special opportunity to explore a real fire truck up close.
The school extends its sincere appreciation to the Sanford Fire Department for taking time to teach students these lifesaving skills in such an engaging and memorable way.
