We are pleased to announce that the Sanford School Department is partnering with MaineHealth to offer free flu vaccinations for students this fall.
Protecting our student's health is a priority, and getting vaccinated is one of the best ways to prevent the flu and keep our school community healthy.
MaineHealth will be visiting our schools to administer flu vaccines on the following dates:
- Tuesday, November 4th - Sanford Pride Elementary and Margaret Chase Smith School
- Thursday, November 6th - Sanford High School and Carl J. Lamb School
- Friday, November 7th - Sanford Middle School
There is no cost to participate in this program. However, we do need your consent for your child to receive the vaccination.
Please complete the consent form and return it to your school nurse by Monday, October 27th. Consent forms are available at your child's school or can be requested from the school nurse. Parents and guardians do not need to be present during vaccination.
