Carl J. Lamb Elementary Celebrates Lunar New Year

Pre-K and Kindergarten students at Carl J. Lamb Elementary brought their Art and Music lessons to life with their annual Lunar New Year parade through the school halls.

Students proudly displayed their handcrafted dragons and festive decorations while sharing the joy of this important cultural celebration with their school community.

Through hands-on activities in Art and Music classes, our youngest learners explored the rich traditions of Lunar New Year while developing their creative skills and cultural awareness.

The parade featured students marching through the hallways, showing off their colorful paper dragons and other craft projects.

Many students wore red clothing, traditionally considered a lucky color during Lunar New Year festivities. The excitement was contagious as children proudly shared their work and participated in this engaging cultural learning experience.
