Sanford Regional Technical Center hosted administrators and counselors from its nine sending schools Thursday, November 21st, at SRTC's cafe for their annual breakfast meeting.

The event featured a breakfast prepared and served by SRTC's Culinary Arts students, showcasing the real-world skills students develop through their technical education.

SRTC Director Matt Petermann emphasized the center's commitment to providing hands-on learning experiences and career preparation for students from across the region.

The meeting included key updates from SRTC's support services team. Career Planning Coordinator Jenn Bartlett outlined initiatives in dual enrollment, career readiness resources, and post-secondary tracking.

Student Services Counselor Deanna Farrell presented new admissions processes, including earlier enrollment and an updated ratings rubric to be distributed with the programs of study in December.

The meeting concluded with optional tours of SRTC's facilities, giving administrators and counselors from the technical center's sending schools a firsthand look at the center's various education programs in action.
