Sanford Community Adult Education recently hosted a community event featuring local author Ashlee Ridlon. On November 16th, more than 30 families gathered to meet the author and explore her latest children's book, The Ordinary Snowflake: A Tale on Finding Your Sparkle!
The family-friendly afternoon was filled with creative activities, including themed coloring pages inspired by the book and a special craft session where attendees made their own star ornaments.
The event showcased SCAE's commitment to bringing enriching literary experiences to local families.
In addition to this successful community event, SCAE has received recognition from the Maine Department of Education for meeting three out of four Education Performance Targets.
