Sanford Middle Schoo’s aquaponics program was recently featured in the Maine Agriculture in the Classroom’s February newsletter.
7th grade students utilized the space with multiple science experiments, including testing seed growth with regular and aquaponic water and many more!
They also hosted quite a few visitors to their classroom, including the deputy commissioner of the Maine Department of Education. They also had their annual elementary visitors. Check out the feature here!
