Interior work has begun for Sanford Regional Technical Center’s fourth house project. The hands-on involvement of senior building trades students and the generosity of local businesses have played a pivotal role in bringing this project to life.

Students finished shingling the house thanks to the donation of supplies from CertainTeed. Eldredge Lumber Sanford, the local dealer, facilitated the donation, ensuring the project had the proper materials.

In partnership with Deering Lumber, REEB Millwork has opened doors of opportunity for the project – literally. They donated the exterior doors.

Jewett Electrical also joined the effort by providing essential electrical supplies. Students are now hard at work wiring the walls and ceiling, gaining valuable hands-on experience.

Plumbing students have installed a tub and shower unit donated by P&E Plumbing & Heating - P&E Kitchen & Bath. As the plumbing students continue their work, the installation of exhaust fan ductwork has commenced, ensuring proper ventilation within the house.
